Time and again, I keep returning to look at the photographs where multiple images are combined into one. Furthermore, I continue creating diptychs and triptychs even though the consolidated images are time-consuming to produce. Any business coach would advise me to cease and desist, but art, like love, wins in the end.
What is it about the number three? Much, apparently.
Quora provided an answer to the query of why three is a magic number, "Three is the first odd numbered prime number which gives it the power of indivisibility. It forms the trinity of magical numbers along with one and two. Also three is the number of perfection, or completion."
While seven is the world's favorite number, the number three is the world's second favorite.
In stories the protagonist is often offered three choices or tests to overcome. And it is on the third attempt that the protagonist perseveres and triumphs. Perhaps this storytelling trend sparked the old saying, "Third time lucky."
There are three primary colors: red, yellow and blue.
The three-leaf clover is a symbol of Ireland.
